The DVD’s will be in letterbox format, as HD (High Definition) is a wide screen format. There will be black bars on the top and bottom of the image, so it will play perfectly on a normal TV. On wide screen 16:9 TV’s, with the screen size adjustments, you will be able to fill the screen with the image.
